A couple of weeks of boatwork and training at Weymouth, followed by the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik, Netherlands (26-30 May) - a training event for us. Done - finished 9th overall & first GBR

Some more training in Weymouth and then the ISAF Sailing World Cup Weymouth & Portland - 8-14 June.  It's followed by a few days off, then out to Aarhus, Denmark for pre-Worlds training.  Done - finished 8th overall, despite sailing two races with only one rudder due to gear failure.  Second GBR and gutted to miss out on selection for the Test Event in Rio - watch out - we will come back even stronger....

The Nacra 17 World Championships take place in Aarhus, Denmark 2-10 July.  This is another of our major events of the                                       year, and a good result will help us to secure a good level of UK Sport funding for the next stage of our campaign.   Plans for ther remainder of July depend on whether we've been selected to go to the Rio 2016 Test event in mid-August, so we'll have to wait and see what happens. Done - finished 12th overall and second GBR - not good enough - we'll try harder!  Then some useful training in Rio.

We could be at the Aquece Rio International Sailing Regatta 2015 (better known as the Rio 2016 Test Event) takes place from 12-22 August - alternatively, it could be Nacra 17 training plus Cowes Week and some National Championships in other classes?  Not in Rio, so Ben sailed some days as tactician on Cowes Week Class 4 winner "Strait Dealer", then won the Merlin Rocket Nationals at Whitstable with George Yeoman in "Speed Machine"

Our final major event of the year is the Nacra 17 European Championships in Barcelona, Spain 26 September-3 October. Done & won - can't beat that!!

Some days off, then a few weeks of training in the UK.  Done - good to sail at Weymouth & Portland, sort out some boatwork and have a few weeks living at home.

Back out to Rio for more training.  Done - then a week at home sorting things and container loading for Florida
