To see an example of how we can work with corporate sponsors, have a look at this Youtube video.

Some of our funding comes from the British Sailing Team - they help towards our boat running costs and programme costs.  We are aIso contributing some of our own income towards the team costs and have some family support and commercial sponsors.  However, that still leaves us quite a bit short of the total amount of money we need to run a world-class campaign, so we're looking for opportunites to work with sponsors and supporters to help bridge the funding gap.  There are various ways in which you could help us:

If you're interested in becoming a commercial sponsor, we can tailor arrangements to include benefits such as:

  • your brand logo on our mainsail, hulls, spinnaker and clothing at our 2016 training and events in UK and Brazil, and at various post-Olympic events, giving plenty of opporunity for recognition in national and international media.

  • recognition as a sponsor on our website and Facebook page

  • particpation in yacht racing events with Ben & Nic and a professional crew.  Potential events include the Little Britain Challenge (September '16) and the world famous Round the Island Race around the Isle of Wight (June '17).

  • on-the-water spectating at the ISAF Sailing World Cup at Weymouth (June '17), the 2012 Olympics venue, watching the best Olympic sailors in the world, including Ben & Nic racing their Nacra 17.

  • team building fun and keelboat match racing in the Solent with Ben & Nic - other arrangements can be made if more appropriate.

  • attendance at your corporate events

  • monthly customized news flow and pictures from our campaign

  • frequent updates via our website, Facebook page and Twitter

  • An invitation to our end-of season dinner at Royal Thames Yacht Club, London

.....the choice is yours!

We would be pleased to talk to you about how we can work with you to deliver great value.  If you're interested, please

Buy us a sail or mast

Good sails are a fundamental element of good boat speed and are vital to our campaign.  Sadly they wear out quite quickly and we expect to spend up to £12,000 a year on new sails.  The smallest sail is a jib at £600 and a spinnaker is £900 whilst a mainsail is £1,550.

They're all held up by a 9m carbon fibre mast which costs a frightenting £5,500.  If we break a mast, most of the cost should be covered by insurance, but we need to take a spare to events so we can replace a broken mast quickly.

If you want to help us by buying us a sail or mast, please

We would be delighted to accept any gifts which could be used for our funding raffle and auction. This could be anything from a box of chocolates upwards - Premier League tickets, a week in a country cottage or on a charter yacht - it's up to you!
